Actors sometimes change words during their performance of a scene and some directors allow actors to put their own spin on the dialogue, and in these instances the published scripts are rarely in synch with the shooting script. Also, transcribers can make mistakes — one common error often seen is the rewording of "I guess" to the singular "guess" (example: "I guess we can" becomes "Guess we can"). During the first season, under Michelle Lovretta, the contraction "gonna" was frequently used instead of the modal auxiliary verb "going to". However, "gonna" was used less and less after Season 1. Therefore, quoted dialogue needs to be the exact dialogue heard in episodes. Virago a-go-go (talk) 05:19, January 24, 2015 (UTC)
