Synopsis
Bo goes undercover as a high school teacher to investigate a mysterious case – Kenzi soon regrets agreeing to help her. Lauren makes a much anticipated return home from vacation.
Plot
Bo is still in a relationship with Ryan Lambert at the beginning of the episode and trying to hide that fact from Kenzi who believes that Bo dumped him. Dyson investigates a high school when a student collapses after speaking nonsense while reading an assignment to her class and her father believes that a drug dealer at the school is responsible. Dyson draws Bo and Kenzi into his investigation of the school, Bo as a teacher, Kenzi as a student, and Dyson as a student counsellor. However none of their investigations go well and another student becomes a victim. Kenzi becomes the target of one student's attentions, and is kissed by him which results in Kenzi becoming affected by what has claimed two other students in the school so far.
It turns out that the student that had kissed Kenzi is a kind of Fae called a Akvan and he also kissed the other two girls. The source of the problem turns out to be caused by the student's father using the eggs of a Simurgh, an Under Fae, in egg sandwiches to make his son smarter. Lauren returns from her trip out of town with Nadia but has not told Nadia about what is going on with her and the Fae. Nadia suspects that Lauren is keeping secrets from her and begins to try to figure out what they might be. She also becomes very possessive of Lauren when near Bo. At the end of the episode, Bo tells Ryan that she doesn't want to see him anymore. But Ryan convinces her to remain with him by taking her to the prom that she never went to when she was in high school.
