Character arc
Ryan Lambert is a playboy who had a carnal interest in Bo. He crashed Bo's surprise birthday party to present her with a gift of a bracelet inscribed with Runes on the inside, telling her it was from "an admirer". The bracelet was later revealed to have been made by him as a shield to protect her from the powers of a particular Fae.
Not knowing at first that he was a Dark Fae, Bo and Ryan became hedonistic lovers, keeping the relationship hidden from Kenzi and Bo's Light Fae friends for some time.
Ryan and Bo finally end their sexual relationship, with him promising not to see Bo again.
Personality
Ryan's sexual orientation is heterosexual.
He is shown constantly hitting on Bo, and seems to have a very relaxed personality in general.
He described himself as mischievous, but seems to find it insulting whenever people mistake him for "Loki", the actual Norse god of mischief.
Ryan is shown to be a remarkable engineer.
He is adept at creating and manufacturing various inventions. Trick commented that building (and fixing) a magic lamp required advanced alchemist skills.
In addition, he designed and constructed a special belt that goes around the waist and protects the wearer from impact damage, and a bracelet that defends the wearer from certain harmful Afreet powers and other unknown abilities.
