Character arc[]
Roman was a hedonist who gorged on debauchery and owned Club Liberalia, a Bacchanalian club frequented by high officials of both Light and Dark clans — and humans — for sex. The club had a special room for "initiates" that could only be entered with a special key.
Over the centuries, Roman indulged in so much sexual kinkiness that he eventually became numb to all physical pleasure. He mated with a Manta to absorb the pleasure it consumed from sex with humans.
He used a Thyrsus to induce sexual desire, or as a weapon to stop or kill a target with a blast of fiery energy.
Quote[]
"A Bacchus who cannot feel pleasure has no reason to live." – Roman
Trivia[]

- In Greek mythology, a Thyrsus was a wand or staff of giant fennel covered with ivy vines and leaves, sometimes wound with taeniae and always topped with a pine cone. It is a symbol of prosperity, fertility, hedonism, and pleasure/enjoyment in general.[2]
