Character arc[]
Mel Williams held Bo accountable for her brother's death, though she was unaware of the means by which he died. When Bo was eighteen years old she accidentally killed Kyle, her boyfriend, when she engaged in sex for the first time and her succubus powers were initiated.
Mel manages to track Bo down and attempts to exact revenge for her brother's death, but although Bo was prepared to move on again – Kenzi volunteering to come with her – Hale made up a cover story explaining that Bo had gone into witness protection after witnessing Kyle's death at the hands of someone else.
