Character arc

Krampus is most active during the Yule and is regarded by the Fae as the "Anti-Santa". He is a very old Fae but has adapted to the modern world. His appearance is that of an elderly man with long white hair. He appears dressed in coveralls in the human world, with his profession being an automobile mechanic. For Yule celebrations he dresses in colorful clothing and reveals ram-type horns on his head.

Krampus as party guest (408)

He can create a time loop in a confined space in which to trap his prey, seeking those who bear guilt and regret. When he captures a victim they become compliant and cheerful before he turns them into colorful candy. He can also teleport his targets with a wave of his hand, making the person vanish in a puff of smoke.

Krampus is known to most as a mischievous trickster. He is fond of children and told Bo that he likes entertaining at local orphanages on his off days. He is also a fair figure, releasing Bo's friends after his son captured them, and then Bo herself when she admitted her fears.

He has a son, Jeffrey.

"How could you be pure when you will not confront your fears?" – Krampus to Bo

  • Given his power, the fact that he doesn't appear to be Light or Dark, and his unusual natural form, Krampus may be an Under Fae, although he seem to be able to disguise his form without much trouble.
  • Krampus is a beast-like creature from the folklore of Alpine countries thought to punish children during the Christmas season who had misbehaved, in contrast with Saint Nicholas, who rewards well-behaved ones with gifts. Krampus is said to capture particularly naughty children in his sack and carry them away to his lair. Krampus is represented as a beast-like creature, generally demonic in appearance.[1]
