Kitsune sorority sisters Lola-Kasey-Amanda (306)

A Kitsune is a Fox Fae.

Character arc

Not much is known about this type of Fae, other than they have the power of glamour, ability to change appearance to look like someone else, and take over a victim's identity. They appear to require regular contact with the original subject to make the illusion effective. This power is necessary for them to feed; however, it is unknown how or what they feed on.

Inari Kitsune Kenzi (306)

Inari disguised as Kenzi

Inari, a demented Kitsune, appeared to be unaware of the feeding needs of humans and the importance of frequency in doing so, considering three days between meals to be nothing to be concerned about. A Kitsune displays spiny teeth when in human form.

Kitsune Kasey and Amanda (313)

Kitsunes Kasey and Amanda

Kitsune sorority sisters Lola, Kasey, and Amanda were seemingly harmless Kitsunes who were self-absorbed and focused on glam.

Like their mythological counterparts, some Kitsune are attracted to shiny objects.

Kitsune is the Japanese word for "fox." Foxes are a common subject of Japanese folklore. Stories depict them as intelligent beings and as possessing magical abilities that increase with their age and wisdom. Foremost among these is the ability to assume human form. While some folktales speak of kitsune employing this ability to trick others — as foxes in folklore often do — other stories portray them as faithful guardians, friends, lovers, and wives.[1]
