A Gargoyle is a stone creature that serves higher authorities such as Fae Elders.
Character arc[]
Gargoyles are not aligned with either the Light Fae or Dark Fae clans. They attack anyone who threatens their masters. The Una Mens sent a Gargoyle to bite Bo so that her blood could be read and have her be aligned with either Light or Dark. The results of the contents of her blood chose alignment with the Dark.
Trivia[]
A French legend sprang up around the name of St. Romanus ("Romain") (AD 631–641), and how he delivered the country around Rouen from a monster called Gargouille or Goji. La Gargouille is said to have been the typical dragon with batlike wings, a long neck, and the ability to breathe fire from its mouth. In architecture, a gargoyle (term originating from gargouille) is a carved stone grotesque with a spout designed to convey water from a roof and away from the side of a building. Preventing rainwater from running down masonry walls is important because running water erodes the mortar between the stone blocks.[1]
