Engelram, also known as "The Collector", was a wealthy Fae who dealt in priceless Fae memorabilia and also had a reputation for giving lavish parties. He salvaged the Recuerdo Compass after the ship it was on, the Esme Fierce, ran aground in Madagascar.
As an Amphisbaena he was a wish-granter. When he picked a favorite "lucky lady" at one of his parties, he granted her deepest desires.
