Character arc[]
Alicia was married to Kevin Brown, the human who was reanimated and possessed by Heratio after dying in an elevator crash. She turned to Dyson, as the detective assigned to the case, for help in investigating how it could be possible that she saw her husband on the street after having arranged his funeral and holding his ashes (Clear Eyes, Fae Hearts).
Posing as Kevin, Heratio returned home to Alicia with evil intent, but was interrupted by Dyson who dropped by to check in on her. When Alicia brought him marshmallows to have with his cocoa and he exclaimed how much he loved them, she realized that he was not who he appeared to be because Kevin had hated that confection. Heratio tried to strangle her, and when he revealed his power and attacked Dyson with a swarm of bees, she stabbed him with a shard of glass (Here Comes the Night).
Afterwards, Dyson took her to safety at his home.
